Do I Need SSL For My Website?
We have hearing from more and more of our clients and businesses who aren’t our clients on this very simple question:
Do I need SSL for my website?
In a word, “Yes!”
If you have a website, you need to get started on implementing SSL before too long. (And we can obviously help.)
SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer which basically means your website is both secure and private. What it doesn’t say is what that website is going to do with your data. (That is a whole other conversation and an entirely other blog.)
But this is important for two reasons:
First, Google has already begun telling web browsers that certain sites aren’t secure. This is bound to be a turn-off for many visitors.
Secondly, Google is also going to soon reward SSL sites with better scores in their Google Ads Quality Score.
Therefore, the implementation of this simple SSL Certificate needs to be a part of your strategy from today on. That is our advice.
