Marketing is All About Customer Service
We recently hosted a digital marketing workshop (want one for your business / staff?) and before the event began, I was talking with one of the attendees - who runs a construction business - and he said something that was really profound:
I’m in the customer service business.
It got me thinking. He’s right. He’s in the customer service business who just happens to sell a product. We all are.
The product is not the first thing. The first thing is how people feel about you and what they think about you.
Businesses must keep that concept front and center.
It’s social media. It’s phone. It’s in store. It’s online. Customer service is the promise of your brand and nothing else matters.
